You just made my day broccoli! The trailer was pretty damn awesome, and the one thing about it is: every single thing there is very likely to happen in a real game of Empires. Well, except the triple arties firing on a scout-marked CV inside a massive base with twin raxes and walls all around it. I say you should release both of the trailers, and include one as the intro movie for Empires 1.08 along with the title movie!
What an absurd concept! Clearly I must only read the first part of the first post, and neglect to notice there was an update. It's just common sense
Honestly, I didn't see many problems with the trailer. I mean, what are you trying to advertise for 1.08? I think it's perfect for the people who we're trying to attract. It's battle scenes are cool, and it keeps you watching till the end. I think it shows the most perfect aspect of 1.08...Less lag. Many people left after the first couple of versions because of lag. So this will get them wanting to play again. It also has new weapons so that's also a plus. A trailer is meant to market the game to the public. If you want to show more 1.08 features, make a demo video of game mechanics. The only thing this video needs is some commander footage...You can use me for footage if you like. I can also yell something macho to hype it even more. Remember, you're selling a game. Instead of making money you make new players.
Lithium, can you rename all of those streaming mirrors of the video "Empires 2.0" Krenzo has made the decision to call 1.08 --> 2.0
would 2.0 be best? I think people will expect aircraft then, then be totally dissapointed. Honestly I think 1.5 would be better because the number is higher, and it's no just 2 yet. But it's not my decision so meh

Well all those mirrors will need to be taken down then, because I refer to it as "Empires Mod version 1.08" in the closing screen. Not sure I'm that happy about all these copies floating about before official release anyway.
The ending is pretty sweet when it pulls out farther and farther from the map. Pretty cool when you see the world! Reminds me of Spore.
LOL The end to the class bit is a bit confusing, people see a grenade disable a turret, maybe if you had it flash white and it reappear with people destroying it or something?
