I have a question: do the levels you gain, (or ranks w/e) stay forever on your character or they are subdued everytime you join a new game?
As noted, they do reset with each game. But some servers have managed to hack up XP saving with an admin mod.

ya but if there is, or were blood splatters then there would be no need of the gay annoying beep. You'd instantly know you hit your target
The thing is people want the knockback removed, but it is how you tell if you have hit an enemy troop at long range. If they are too far away to see if they have been knocked back with current weapon zoom/no zoom, then clearly the weapon is not meant for fighting over that distance. For this reason I think the beep is not such a good idea without it being restricted to a skill and having its range restricted. I would really rather not have a beep hit indicator. But bloodspurts I can agree with, gratuitous vilolence for everyone!
What would be nice is to stop ppl joinning the winning side really annoying how are they ment to fligh back when they join the winning side
I agree, I don't think we need a hit indicator, or if we did actually get one it should be a promotion thingy, or a class ability. Though the blood spurt thing sounds really cool.:D
can us mappers get an entity in order to restrict the commander's build ability? Like emp_eng_restrict, only for the comm instead. hit indicator = bad blood spurts = good and does throwing grenades under tanks bypass armor? if not, then it should!
well, ok, turretspam on the one hand (searching your turret in a group of ten :/ ) but also having placed your turret in early game and 30min later you wonder where that was when you try to drop another one... happen... maybe not that often but happens... '
lol my turrets always get pwned well if you remember where it was you could always ask the comm to recycle if you dont feel like walking, I did this once for someone that had a turret in base while he was near theirs pinned down behind a wall but you do breng up a good point, turrets made by yourself should maybe have a different color on the map
I just got to say that you are awesomeness Krenzo. Being able to come up with patches every 2 weeks takes some dedication. Good job on the upcoming patch as well. The kick commander ability would have been enough for me. :D
I would love to see the grenade repairing bug fixed. Also, on another note, Engineers should keep their repair tool ammo when swapping out their kits. It's sometimes irritating to have to wait for it to replenish when you wanted to swap smgs or something minor, or swap out a skill. I know you wanted to do away with people just replenishing their tool ammo by constantly swapping kits but we do need to keep what we have at least. If you swap from another class to engie of course, you should have nothing. The server side beep though is one of the main things we need unless internet server lag and prediction is perfec. It couldn't be used for sniping really as you still have to actually see your target and be able to aim to shoot. Your not going to be phantom firing off into the distance at specs and hitting people because of a beep, it would be the same as before. However, if someone is moving and you hit and see a blood spot (As is currently when you aim dead on) you would either get a beep or no beep to know if your perfectly aimed shot registered with the server or not.
