yeah, but when the turret is destroyed, u have to wait until it disappears > when u go up then ... BOOM, dead. and a good engi builds a radar, so that he knows when enmies are coming up the ladder to destroy the turret.
Or you place a pixerduhduh (camera, according to Bodrick) and place a turret up there, it'll be better for killing those who get up.
whot? do u even know what im talking about? the tower is too easy to defend: - go up as engi (with some mates) - place turret at ladder so that no one can rush the tower - place a radar so that u get warned early enough - wait for enemies at ladder (very easy to kill), shoot down from tower, supply/revive your mates >solution: make something like a nobuild area around the top of the ladder
You don't want to place a radar, radars detect vehicles. You want to place a camera, which detects Infantry. The camera is usually called a Pixerduduh
I've seen people placing turrets and camras OVER the hole up there, which really is a bit sploity. but I wouldn't want a nobuild area over the ENTIRE area, that wouldn't be fun.
engineer brush? is that something like a nobuild area? @ a mapper: will u fix that in zhe next update?
If you do some teamwork you can take out whoever is up there, but i agree with having a nobuild area up there.
I forgot what its actually called but yes it keeps engineers from building walls turrets and cameras. Also I believe it blocks those for comms too although I'm not sure..
fine. next problem: emp_crossroads is pretty imbalanced for NF. BE base: NF base: u see, BE base is much easier to defend. u can get up the walls, where u are in an excellent defensive position.
NF has better weaponry and tanks at start so they almost always take over the center.. Also as we all know NF needs to rush. A defending NF loses.
well the NF rifle is IMO superior to BE's counterpart.. (might jsut be the models ) also NF light tank is far more superior to the BE AFV
I think NF's infantry path is better, though it stops at an opening (whereas BE's stops at a building). Those parapates are never really strategically significant, except for the odd 5nip3r nub up there.
what, u mean rifle and light tank are better in general? NF rifles are a bit better i think, but im not sure. i didnt compare their stats. fixed. question to a mapper: does NF have any advantage on crossroads? wtf is a parapate? cant find a translation for this word (english is not my primary language)
If you drive an LT up to an AFV he cant hit you, but you can hit him.. Also an LT is lower to the ground making it a smaller target.. And besides the above an LT has much better maneuverability than an AFV.
