/me slaps chahk We already have the KR-3 and the NZ-0. And for Niarbeht: BE: Pistol 1 - Falcon X - FalconX (duh) Pistol 2 - Tundra Falcon - The first part is a biome, the second a bird. You might get it eventually. Oh yeah and FalconX again. SMG 1 - KR-3 SMG 2 - NZ-0 Assault Rifle - L3 Heavy Rifle - L3-TUC3 - once again, should be obvious. Heavy Machinegun - The Duke - Duke Scout Rifle - Scout BZ-S - Named after scoutbz. (plus it's the scout roffle) RPG/Mowtar - DA-M14N - Damian NF: Pistol 1 - DM-12 - DM comes from DonMegel, most of these need a better name. Pistol 2 - Grizzly Shotgun Pistol - Grizzly SMG 1 - DM-25 SMG 2 - PP12 - PP is a common prefix for Russian SMG's Assault Rifle - DM-32 Assault Rifle Heavy Rifle - M3-G3L - Megel Heavy Machinegun - Hellion - Hellion Scout Rifle - DM-50 Ranged Rifle RPG/Mowtar - The WarFle - Warfle
should have the technical weapon names and then the nickname in quotes <_< edit: also, if we name weapons after devs, wont that be confusing when devs are ingame?
That's two different weapons. If you say "I killed someone with the megel," while Megel is on the server, he isn't gonna be like. ZOMGWTFBBQ! If someone says "hey megel," noone is going to think you are talking to a gun. In other words:
anyone think we may have gone a little too far with the naming after the coders? if it's really subtle, and it fits then sure; the "grizzly" for instance is a perfect example of this. but the "WarFle" mortar? i mean, I like the guy but that just sounds stupid, and isn't doing him or the mod any favours in my opinion
I really like that BE AR idea, heres some changes I'd make. BE: SMG 1 - KR-3NZ0 krenzo SMG 2 - 3NZ0 enzo (yes, hes a different person) Assault Rifle - Brenodi Empire Assault Rifle (BEAR) "Grizzly" grizzly Also, "The Duke" sounds like it would be more like a pistol to me.
Grizzly is already the shot pistol and thats highly logical. if i shoot you 2 times in the face with it, then put you beside someone mauled by a grizzly, you both look the same, no?
NF RPG/Mortar: WAR-FL (Warhead: Accurate, Ranged; Front-Loading) I've nothing against naming them after the devs, as long as it can be done subtly, and in a way that makes sense. Don't just do it for the sake of it (hey, there's nothing named after "thisGuy", so let's call this weapon "the thisGuy!")
