That's excactly it, if you can't understand it why use it? If some guy has no idea how an microwave works, send him in the woods 'till he learns, would be the best education system ever, not very human ofc but efficent, I mean why would he ever learn how to harden steel if he never had to go hunting animals with a rock?
I have a 30" 2560x1600 monitor. I considered buying one of the old IBMs which were like 4k x 3k at 22", but the refresh rate is too low. The new HTC "Phablet" should be a 5 inch screen at 1080p, but I don't think it includes a stylus. I want a stylus.
If normal iPhone 5 is not expensive enough, you must be in Dubai: http://9to5mac.com/2012/09/28/this-gold-plated-iphone-5-will-run-you-4300-video/
Explain EXACTLY how the cars work, EXPLAIN exactly how you make your food, EXPLAIN EXACTLY how your dishwasher works, EXPLAIN EXACTLY HOW YOUR DRINKMIXER works! and then report back to me. You're free to input another "explain "X" to me" to make it harder.
I swear to god we've had this exact same discussion before, even with a car analogy and about computers.
Explain what your food is made of, explain what the moleculs are made of in your food explain what the electrons protons and neutrons are made of, explain what bosons are made of. Explain what happens with your dishwasher wastewater exactly. Explain how your digestive system evolved OR YOU'RE NOT EVEN ALLOWED TO HAVE A SHIT, I'M SERIALZ!!!111
Remember when you argued that humans don't have a freedom of choice? Well there you go, we are all doomed to argue about Apple's user-friendliness in nearly every thread of off topic.
Oh god, don't go back to that subject. Half the board of /r9k/ have come to the conclusion that their situation is unchangeable and in no way their own fault, simply because of a deterministic universe. Yes I mad
Why would anyone argue against the human freedom of choice? If you don't believe in it then there is no point of arguing since your discussion partner does not have the choice to change his opinion anyway. If you do believe in the freedom of choice, then why argue against it? But before things get too deep, here is a cute video of a cat adopting a squirrel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHT1nAX46dM&feature=g-vrec
Not true at all, your choices are entirely and solely based on what you have received from your surroundings over your entire life, just because you don't have a free will doesn't mean I couldn't influence your thinking pattern ... freedom of choice and free will are 2 different subjects btw, and as I recall we never had a discussion about freedom of choice, but could be wrong w/e ... To argue about freedom of choice is pointless since you would need to be able to make an arbitrary decision which would give us a chance to act one way or another without any deterministic thought and we're no gambling machines. :p
Well, if there is no freedom of choice, then it has been predetermined that you'll argue about such a topic on the Empires forums. And even if you were able to convince him that there is freedom of choice, it could be argued that it is predetermined that he would chance his mind. In a nut shell, you are all retarded for arguing about something actually more pathetic than "Is there a God?" PS: This post was not my choice.
