Concussion nade timer was increased so you can flash things further away. More importantly, so you can flash turrets further away. 3 seconds was too short.
Can we have a checksum for the released files, i.e. md5 ? That would help in case of outdated mirrors or corrupted files...

hahah guys try playing crossroads. hotfix in 3...2...1 if you were trying to stop a nonexistant exploit mootant...you have failed or maybe it was adding this that did it.
2.30 is a fps-killer ... after some time it gets really laggy. (i had no fps problems with previous versions)
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6615362/empires/bullet_tracers.pcf put that in particles/ directory. It fixes tracer particle effects not dying at all. Over time they lower your FPS to unplayable level.
