Nevertheless, Grenadiers have reported to me that they can't drop mines on the emp_eng_map_brush entities in emp_octagons (unless they click over a brush and release over a buildable).
Oh snap man shandy so got everyone in this thread, the thing has 8 faces, everyone was talking about the 6 edges on the hexagon face.
Why should he change the map name? It's a perfectly acceptable map name. I enter this as evidence: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wu22qFCin9U
An octagon has 8 sides. I'm really surprised you guys can't seem to count. I think each and every one of you naysayers should play the map, count the sides of the octagons, and then return to make your case that they are not octagons.
Shandy'...only one thing that I feel needs changing. (Though maybe this is implemented as intended)...Can you make the constructables e-buildable?
It's awesome, but not being able to give move orders to any buildable blocks, whether or not they're built, is an absolute nightmare for commanders. And without any landmarks to really describe areas, it's pretty difficult to get any decent strategies going on it.
Yea, but unless devs fix, it's beyond mapper control. I've been told that you can circumvent it by first clicking from a normal brush and then highlighting your units.
