why the f*** keep ppl voting the same maps all the time?

    this monotony is getting ridiculous. everytime when i look in the server browser some standard map is on: canyon, slaughtered, escort, district, money, mvalley ... ALWAYS THE SAME SHIT! SINCE 4 FUCKING YEARS

    i dont understand how playing the same maps over and over again, 100000 times, can still be fun?!?
    for me its no fun anymore - having a 30 min stalemate on slaughtered, nade spaming on district, arty spaming on money, steam rolling noob NF on escort ... its like the whole empires playerbase gets more and more retarded and wants to play only simple brainless fps w/ vehicles.

    For the record, the current particles are very nice looking, and I have no problem with performance.

    But I live in the 21st century. :rolleyes:

    ...Slaughtered is the worst map in this game. WTF is wrong with people who vote for it.

    Some servers have differently sized mapcycles/votelists than others. It also doesn't help when you get a bunch of people camping in spectator and voting the nextmap to be shit to grief you all, so you join them in spec the following map and they have a wider audience. And it DOES happen, frequently.

    ...of wasting my precious bandwidth on shitty maps.

    Also, the script disabling spec for the first 5 minutes of a game should be on most servers.
    I can't fucking stand having to play shitty, com-less games when EVERYONE is in spec.

    its more likely that players are too stupid and too lazy to play somthing more complex then money/district/sLaughtered/asscort.

    do you guys seriously have limited bandwidth? :eek:
    also i got 32mbit down thats roughly 4mb per second. means a map is loaded in a couple of seconds in theory. even if it takes a minute its not like youd have to wait each time the map comes up ... :rolleyes:
