rail gun spamming on a heavy tank with no armour is the funniest combo ever when the enemy CV tries and makes a break for it

well atleast with ranged cannon you wont kill you por lil paper tank at point blank range like you would with HE ha ha and ranged with plasma mg= uber pwnge it take ranged cannons less time to hit the target becouse it flys strighter than HE so it doesnt take all that time to arc
fully armoured heavy tank with composate armour, and only 1 weapon the uber awesomely cool standard cannon!
You are forgetting that railguns totaly suck against absorbant... Every time I see someone use heavies with rails I whip out abs... and lol as an AVF kills a heavy...

this represents the imbalance I've been talking about all this past week. The other cannons need to be made more deadly. (but not standard.)
SANDBAG MAKE THEM NERF IT SO I CAN HAS RAILGUNZ MOAR. Yeah I love the railgun, the first time I used it (and destroyed BE's CV during a short chase across Streets of Fire) I instantly loved it, it felt like it was actually shooting something and a lot of those somethings at that. I still think it should have no arc though.
Ranged , why ? well it has a bit less firepower, but when your in a very messy situation, and don't have time to think where the mortar like he gun fires, the ranged fires like a gun and is much more predictable also going up ramps affect, and i have found that the ranged is great for kills for me, and fires like an arc like missiles do.
The downside to ranged is that the flat trajectory is a bit harder to splash infantry with. But it's still my favourite.

lol going off topic i rammed a running away CV with my AFV and it tipped onto its side and couldn't get away :-P <sigh> Why what changes were there to the railguns in 1.071?
i dont like cannons much. my preference is a composite NF heavy with 2 salvo ML's and a standard ML. or, if thats not available, 5 standard ML's and what ever armor i can fit.
You could change 3 slots big railguns to be only one slot big. That's why six shooter railgun heavy tanks.
