Hi all, I had to reinstall windows, Thus I had to reinstall empires. My resolution is all screwed. I went through every option the best I could get it was at 1680 x 1050 but I was missing the top bar I.e.tickets and res. But I had the commander bar. Plus the say chat was fine but the who killed who on the right was overly big. The only way I can play it half good is windowed. Any ideas.
i placed that in and hey presto the top border came back the writing was still overly large changed to a different res and all screwed again. gunna reinstall tomrrow
all is good now except the who has killed who is way too large (text wise) any ideas cos its annoying the crap outa me its covering nearly half the screen.
Are you surrrreeeee? Try: 1. Uninstall current drivers (completely). Then install the most recent drivers available online for your particular card. 2. Uninstall the game (and all components)/Uninstall steam (and all components). Then install steam, install sdk -> install game.
It might be helpful to post some screenshots at various resolutions. I can't quite picture whats going on from your descriptions.
looks like Its sorted now.... I redownloaded from empires looks like a file may have been corrupt thanks for your help guys
