The current website was a pain in the ass to update. This one is nice and simple. We are working on a theme, but if anyone has one or knows how to make Drupal themes, lemme know

fewer buttons or catagories that cover more, maybe sorta like http://www.eternal-silence.net/ does Menu About Development Community maybe not these same titles, but 4 is a nicer breakdown than just a fat list of 'stuff'. This new layout there is like 18 independent buttons/sections for various things people may want. Need to teir them more to simplier catagories. Put things like current team members and former team members in the 'About the Mod' or just 'About' section. (Probably most of those list ones actually: story, buildings, vehicles, weapons, media) quick start guide id just still leave as its own catagory though various other things can be dropped into sub catagories as well EDIT: this is actually probably a better example http://www.blackmesasource.com//
I liked the eternal-silence example more...blackmesa doesn't give as much information at your fingertips. I agree with you though. Hmm...now looks like several sites have it like blackmesa. Hmm...there may be a "industry standard" here that might be worth using as it eases navigation.
Woot finally something I can test with a broken gaming computer. Laptop should be able to handle a little old website. So far just need to get the quickstart page under the new template.
sry keef but i find the blackmesa layout to be horrible imo - a page should present you as much viable information as possible at a glance in an organized and not random manner. i mean the menu is right above the video - it looks almost like its headline for example. also, for the empires hp, idk what you all got with the menus being on the right side. i find it to be unimaginative ...
Its currently using a drupal default layout. Its going to change, but we don't have a good template yet.
Dys and PVK seem to use the same kinda thing, albeit not as haphazardly - I believe BlackMesa's is that way because they haven't released anything yet, and it's just a development page. Also, Most of the content is copy pasted directly from the current website. If there are any issues there, they have been there for a very, very long time XD Best part is, our resident PR person, Scardy, can go in and fix them now :D
I like the right side button setup, but the top bar needs to be centered or not right aligned. that's my only complaint on the layout, otherwise, it works. Color scheme sucks ass though. When you get the non default set up, please let us look again.
AHHH! the web-page... it actually made my eyes bleed. Make it more darker... the bright baby blue makes me want to gouge my eyes to stop the pain! btw spawn... your fat a§§ cat and your butt are sitting on the same couche my mom has... that table she has too... wtf you my long lost brother || something?
