Could we have a selection for different types of wall, it annoys me that all the time , tanks can go straight into an enemy base and pwn everythinng inside, so... we could have different types of wall, the standard (current wall) Hvy walls (with more HP) High walls (higher!!!) Towers (provide cover to shoot out of and have ladders) turret walls (have a turret in) arrowslit walls (have an arrowslit (castlestyle and can be shot out of) and gates, so you can build a decent defence, and actually be able to get in/out. Plus wall add-ons could include: sandbags (reduce explosion damage) metal plating (more resistant to direct hits from cannons, rockets) Micro nano factory ( slowly reapirs wall) These upgrades could be implemented to any building after they have been researched.
Wow, that's a lot of walls. I think the only types we really need are the gates, towers, standard, and maybe turret. Adding research for Non-vehicle things is always good.
at the moment the walls are nearly usless (if someone has atillery) but a wall upgrade with a energy shild will be a solution the wall can still be destroid by atillery but you can not shoot over it. what do you think about this?
Unless the sheilds are very expensive, emp_Money will be artilaryless. Also, make them have low hp, so that they don't last long.
What about a sheild wall that has 2 projectors, and they both have a limited time or have a small amount of health
maybe this walls shut be deactived on some maps(like emp_money) or only build on predefinded places (like wood-walls in emp_escort) did i tell you that i dont like emp_money? its a dumb rush map where the fastest team win. if your com waste only 3 min (like kicking a noob com) there is a very high change that you lose this map. or the map goes for 15 hour where every player gets an atlly and the hole games remindes my on "Worms". Ok back to shield-walls: on "normal" maps a team attacked by 3 atllys feels like "respawn and smash". In 95% the game is over. i think there shut be a change to stand again atlly. shure until the atlly or engins crack down the walls (or only make a big hole) maybe the com can only build this walls and only 50 -100 of these (to cover mainbase) but i think until there are no airsupport there shut be a way to save a base to be smashed in 3 min. dont think so?

its just a design to show what i think it shout look like Just to note, the walls two sides would be destructable (and maybe give off a high explosion when destroyed)
mmm ....... i like the futeristic wall design , what if the wall was simple a copy of the "half life 2" sheild walls. That would ,make designing the wall much easire since its allready been made. hay , they could even have the all important "plug" behind the wall , ready to be disconected. having gates the arrow slits sounds cool !! , having ladders + towers built into the wall sounds cool too. I'v always been really annoyed when in games like "age of empires" when walls don't have walkways for troops to walk around on.
