Can we have standard equipment replace this stupid "No armor" "No engine" crap. There is no benefit from having this in the first place except for having to screw around with mouse some more.

I rather like this, it's super annoying to fiddle with settings when you need to get an apc out real fast.

They will try to fiddle around with vehicle customization once they see a different kind of weapon being used by tanks or hear something like "we got plasma bullets guys".

Don't compare plasma to your filthy casual's artillery weaponry.

commander should be able to configure a "standard" type of vehicle. the "standard" vehicle has the commander's configuration settings, engine, weaponry, armor, etc. but they don't need to build them manually.

it would be a quicky shortcut "build vehicle" button that refers to the comm's "standard" type so comm doesn't have to yell at people to make vehicles. and so people can make vehicles much quicker without having to fuss with 50 options for configs when the comm already has one in mind
