Yea when you start talking about more then 40 points, it should be OP anyway. The game is supposed to be over at that point, and in any case infantry are obsolete because both sides most likely have heavies and 50 cal and arty.
While i thank you for making my own opinion sound like the voice of the community, i am aware of that + 1) normally people DO play one class the whole match (going engy to drop ammo near the rax not taken into account) 2) having class being significatly better above and weaker under a certain point is stupid 3) game shouldn't be balanced towards inf and conqest maps, not the other way

Idea two sounds fun, but it does need limitations. Scout Speed, Repair Upg, Cooling Upg, and whatever on a commander might make the best boom-tank yet, though. (Base-Class engi).
First off do any populated servers still even have urban and glycen on rotation? Making district playable required removing the commander, resources, lvl 3 turrets, walls and grenades. Who cares if a feature breaks district its already broken. As for escort - Defuse, Increase armor, scout speed tanks fighting hidden rifleman with stickies. Awesome.
What I meant was: There might be infantry maps in the future, for all I know, bitterjesus was going to make one.
