Test #27 - Playtest PUG

So I decided to muck around on the latest build and I messed around with gravity and found that if you create a vehicle while under any gravity... even after changing gravity the vehicle will still be affected only by the created gravity value not the new value. The vehicles shocks appear to take the new gravity value as after changing the gravity it will raise up or down however, handling is unaffected.
IF you create a vehicle with gravity 1k and then set gravity to 100 it will still drive quite normal. Create a take with that 100 gravity and its completely fucked even after changing gravity to normal.

 

Quickly! Fix gravity bugs that only occur when sv_cheats 1 is actived!! :D

 

Why is this important in any way, shape or form? It's like saying "OH GOD, IF SOMEONE PUTS CHEATS ON AND ENT_REMOVES A PERSON, THEY CRASH". It's not really anything to do with us.

That reminds me. I was flying around with noclip and buddha on Slaughtered using impulse 203 on players, and it caused them to crash. I believe this is a terrible bug.

 

Well I figured the bug might be tied to the other gravity bug for tanks mysteriously changing gravity on repair pad.

 

All 3 crashes when being commander, but being outside of the Command Vehicle.

 

I just realized that neither hl2.exe nor srcds.exe do close with current SVN versions.
