I noticed some weirdness with the assists. Earned 1 rank point for 3 kill assists. (Killed: =[BSID]= 2LT Sgt.Security) =[BSID]= 2LT Sgt.Security suicided. Sgt Securit was on my team and I got an assist when he died. Earned 1 rank point for 2 critical kill assists. (Killed: SwiftPoo) I got an assist when I died. I did not kill myself but I may of damaged myself with a mortar. Also I really like transparency menus but for vehicles it probably is really hard for new people to tell where to drag weapons/armor/engine. The box needs to be bolder.
Pistols seem to have insane accuracy drops when on the move. Sort of breaks gren duels where shitty shotty is king because it always hits the centre. Crouch aim is slower than moving prone.
So far I've got all the combinations. Assisted in killing myself. Assisted in killing my own vehicle. Assisted in killing my teammate. I think something is fucked up really hard. btw, does the "assist" disappear when the thing you damaged is patched up?
Typical Commander-wants-to-build crash after official pug-time on xroads at a half done radar (while speaking through mic, if that bears any importance). Also the tracers imho get really confusing on infantry maps with higher numbers, like we had today. Not the "Oh this is a battlefield" kind of confusing which could be considered as an improvement. More of a headaching kind or even "Simpsons in Japan" style.
I really think the gui needs some improvement for the sake of contrast. the blue tickets like seen in the screenie above are really hard to read.
Assists are going to get looked into I think. I increased the cost for all vehicles but resources are still messed up. Recycling carcasses will probably get reduced to 25% of the vehicle value. I'd also like to rework the autosquad join system a little. It would be better if it just prompted you to join a squad.
Oh yah I got some weird stuff with the collisions. Got stuck in someone as well. Also I think the tracers need to be toned down a little too. Somewhere in the middle of the current version and the test version. Why did you need to increase cost of vehicles? Instead of fixing res gain? I guess it is harder to fix res rate?
I don't think the GUI should be released until all the bugs with it are ironed out. Such as: shitloads of bullets in the ammo hud, blurry/misaligned text and buttons and other ugly crap. I like the style a lot but we can't push something this unpolished to steam. Didn't see any gamebreaking bugs while I played, horribly laggy for me though, it was barely playable.
When a revive engineer on NF, names of dead people change color from red to blue and vice versa sometimes. No clue why, but on BE they are consistently red. And they block visibility. See, actual input instead of trolling. Deal with it. EDIT: Yeah the GUI may be nice for some (dislike the transparency much much) but it needs tweaking.
i think fully built be walls are smaller than nf walls. can't really do a real test without somebody else but i have it on good suspicion
