    according to this one video where some barbar ... i mean bavarian shouted at him and called him all sorts of things, i would think he didnt like turks all that much.
    he wasnt exactly pleased when he wasnt considerd german.

    You are misrepresenting his argument and setting up a strawman.

    the important part here is not that he has ties to his family, but that their ties are Syrian, and his families origin are just one facet of his Syrian ties.

    Im not defending his argument, im defending what his argument is and what it isnt...

    this is why RL trump is doing so great, he says something dumb that he should be called out for, his opposition takes it entirely out of context, implies stuff that is blatantly not what he was talking about and blows it out of proportions, and then they get surprised if people call them out on being even more dishonest as trump.

    If you would have said "I know tons of people with familial ties to Ireland. I have never been the victim of a car bomb." initially, i wouldn't have had to correct you and you would still have the moral and factual high ground, if not me complaining you are basically posting a highly populist and meaningless comment.
