Suggest Player Stats and Global Stats (READ ORIGINAL POST FIRST)

    That idea doesn't hold, three 8v8 rounds give you no preparation for a 24v24. They are completely different in so many ways that you could almost call them different games entirely.

    Headshot per kill. (We had this, I missed my #1.)
    Average score per minute.

    I doubt we still have people who's gonna grind/whore these shit.

    I wonder if it's possible to disable statsunder some conditions? (e.g. low server population)

    Stat updates are called from game code, so we can control whenever it updates.

    Peopple were sitting underwater on slaughtered the entire match healing eachother as they drowned.

    Even back then, we didn't have farmers everyday.
    Considering the population nowadays, we really shouldn't worry about that.

    This is also why I asked if we can disable stats on our side.

    Others have summed everything up well, but there's one important point that needs fleshed out...

    If you record points, record all of the component actions that earn points.


    Points are flawed and will be abused

    You can't predict what will be abused

    You can measure how they are abused


    e.g.

    Points from:

    • Killing
    • Assisting
    • Building
    • Repairing
    • Healing
    • Reviving
    • Flag Capture
    • Squad Teamwork
    • Commander Points
    • Sabotage
    • Vehicle Destruction
    • Building Destruction [sub](per building type?)[/sub]
    • etc.

    Jesus Christ, yes.

    We'll finally see how OP spec is...
