Why is everybody bitching that Starcraft 2 looks a lot like Starcraft 1? Take a moment to think over that statement, seriously. Why is it a bad thing that a sequel resembles its predecessor, especially when said predecessor was a great game?
They can get rid of the ban & boot options in part 2, thats a start, I can't even play StarCraft because bnet is full of people who think banning & booting people with Pope in their screenname is funny.
On the forums, there's talk about having to pay a monthly fee to play SC2 online and when blizzard as asked, they refused to comment =/
Now thats pushing it, paying to play an RTS. Aren't they already making billions off the people playing WoW.
Its Starcraft 2. They seem to hold true to fast paced and fun multiplayer. Looking foward to it, that and the map editor ^_^
Granted my original post was not of on the right track either; but the points still hold; let me re hash them into a more "Acceptable" and less "Childish" manner... Blizzard is yet to make a game that has not gone unoticed; every single release gets world acclaimm The Blizzard cinematics are the best out there; there has even been a thread on THIS forum about "Best cinematics" and Blizzard was mentioned alot more then once; if anything the game itself will be worth playing just to see the amount of hard work they put in those Starcrafts sequal in a more advanced engine. The first game is ranked upon the best in the world, with Korea basing entire tournaments just on starcraft. About the kill stuff, almost everywhere I go I find people oozing out "Direhea" about how its going to suck, that its not going to be the best, that its going to suck, all stuff like that. Maybe I was just tired of it? Granted people also might be tired from "OMFG STARCRAFT" But then again, if you don't like it, and hate the game, why do you bother wasting your time with it all? I do not know where this near personal attack came from, but if anything lets just debate calmly...
Blizzard isn't EA. You can almost garantee it won't just be new units and a new engine. *cough*CnC3!*cough*
