Standalone release would work

    I seriously cannot believe you people can't get it through your heads that a standalone release is a good idea.
    Why can't you just make it possible to use the Oculus Rift anyway?
    No More Room in Hell did it and they barely even tinkered with it.
    These goals are far from unreasonable.

    Empires actually is standalone; we just can't remove the engine disclaimer.

    What's wrong with engine disclaimer? Almost every game has a startup screen saying what engine it was made on.

    I think it mistakenly says that the game requires a source game already purchased or something.

    It wouldn't but it'd be dang cool. dang yo. If Empires had any VR support I'd buy the VR.

    Your thread got locked once, don't remake locked threads immediately.
    You don't know what you're talking about (empires is available free on steam for everyone afaik) and VR support is a ridiculous idea. Do some research before you start posting completely insane and irrelevant threads.
