Yes, but the standard squadmembers add only 1/4th of the strength. Leader gives full effect. 4 members give their own effect at quarter the power. An example with a full grenadier party: Leader +10% damage Member1 + 2,5% damage Member2 + 2,5% damage Member3 + 2,5% damage Member4 + 2,5% damage Now if all 5 squadmember stick together near the leader, the aura would basically give 20% more damage. If 1 grenadier runs off to some other place, the aura would drop to 17,5% more damage. The interesting part would be that mixed squads would have an aura with several boni, so you could finetune your squad if you want to. But this also means that the makeup of the classes in the squads contribute to the whole aura. Overall the bonus should be good enough to make a difference and actually make people WANT to have the bonus as high as possible.
the nf one also i like the basic idea of caps etc, but i would like to add that i would prefer to see a visual reference (circle) of the squad leader effect field etc
I'm all for squad hats! Though make an optional hat Look at me- "I'm wearing a bright hat, I must be an important target" << actually really good trade off between squad work, vulnerability, and looking sexy.
