Some things never change: BE losing again and again...

Nothing I've noticed so far, I'd say out of the games I've played it's been pretty much 50/50.

 

I join BE becous it feels more natural for me and all i use is the imperial tank. ive had wins on glycen

 

I usually join BE because, as an engineer, I dont really enjoy shooting the other team with a giant nailgun.

 

i see both teams win all the time.. never seen BE only win

unless its a team of noobs on Escort.. NF blows thru those tickets so fast that its easy for BE to win

 

i was thinking about escort today, when it is all veterans it is balanced, but if mixed or all newbs then be wins. not complaining, i like it how it is, just saying.

on topic: when i first started playing i was alwase BE, but now i alwase go NF just because i like how they look. i guess NF just takes time to grow on ppl.

 

I dunno, I've seen BE blow all their res on railgun tanks on the first flag, and then they don't get much farther than that.

 

The other day NF did a great job of not letting us get past the first flag for a long, long time. I think we made it to flag 3 before it was over.

 

The last two games I have played of escort happened exactly like ark said; only not only did they do that they also decided to assault with artillery and nuketanks.

 

Then you and your team suck. lol

dubee: Resources in BE ended while I was playing yesterday on escort and I switched to NF. There was someone constantly using artillery and we still won without bigger problems. It was on 32 player server I think. With slight ticket change for bigger servers (done by their admins) escort is perfectly balanced.

ButteryLobster: there are no nuke tanks on escort. There were two weapons useful for clearing of the infantry and turrets: nukes and artillery. If you would remove both then the game wouldn't make any sense. NF can defend between 3rd and 4th NF flag (behind wooden wall) for ages. I always won it there as NF when BE lost their vehicle factory. I would say that nukes are more noob friendly (and generally NF friendly) but you people wanted to remove them.

The biggest problem atm is dumb admins on 40-48 slot servers that don't change tickets for NF with multipliers in map configs.

 

Yesterday i played a few games. NF won in canyon, BE won in SoF (we were losing, but someone 9mined the cv), BE won in Crossroads (because of early rushes) and NF won in cyclopean.

That's 2-2, and the BE victories weren't even that spectacular (rush+9mine).
I think it's balanced, but statistics would still be nice.
Also last time i played escort (already a couple of days ago) we had no problem with capping all the NF flags, and all we had was an apc. I just used my squadleader skills and me and my squad of newbs captured everything in about 5 minutes (we had the first 2 flags already though, so only 3 remained to be captured).

Also i've seen BE win in glycen as well. Not sure about the ratio, but i have as much memories about defeating NF than i have about defeating BE in that map.

 

On BE, escort, you only need a few talented players with you to stick together and make some good insertions to cap the flag, while you let the noobs on your team go scout and guard the first flag from being retaken.

On NF though, you need to really bitch at your team to stop them respawning and attacking, which is tough. it's very easy to get two noobs then don't know better that just charge in, having a whale of a time, and deplete all your tickets by the third flag.

 

I was playing on a server with HSM earlier and he blew it up twice. Apparently it respawns now (his reaction on voice chat was amusing, though :p).

 

It respawns 3 times, with a delay of 7 minutes between dying and respawning.

 

I was talking about the version where it didn't respawn.

 

what's the ETA on those victory stats? Is there like a server plugin that can track who wins and who loses?

 

I havn't noticed a problem. I always stab 'auto assign'. I figured everyone else did too. I guess not....

Ever since the AVF's can actualy aim lower and hit the Light; the battles are alot more ballanced; lights just dont "Wtf Rape" AVFs anymore...

Ive won as BE on Glycen yesterday... Though I do think it is slightly stacked in NF's favor...
