The com vehicle should not be anywhere near enemies unless the enemies have pushed you back into your own base, in which instance you lose.

    Period.

If you don't like that, learn to defend your base.

If the infantry can't get to north on mvalley in 60 seconds, then there will be plenty of them near enough to make getting back to base if you fail a problem. Rushing north is always risky, and if the original com can't get back to the com vehicle for whatever reason, you have already failed.

Point being, after 60 seconds, the com should not be anywhere without a barracks or some sort of base in the IMMEDIATE vicinity. Com rushing is risky. If you fuck up, it's your fault. Your team can't help the CV if you fuck up and leave it stranded somewhere, like in their base.

The comm gets in the vehicle, it puts his name up there saying he's the comm.

He gets out, he's still the comm, it just dims his name to denote he got out.

A simple "remove the commander" vote would deny him of his rights and make it OPEN status. Next person in gets the commanders chair and the previous one is banned from using the commander vehicle for the rest of the round.

Any user who wants in must request permission, or comm can check a box simply in the same manner as you would to lock vehicle construction.

Comm gets a special hud where he can select from a list who he wants to give permissions to if need be?

It's not too difficult, and keep the commander back if it's such the issue to add a anti-grief fix.

Sorry, but I think your logic is wrong. What happens if someone enters your base because people simply won't defend you? What happens if you don't have enough res to build 4+ turrets to defend yourself? What happens if your base gets overrun and you run to a new main?

I'm sure all vets would have seen each of those about 50 times at least, most likely 100. Most people who've been playing for a year would have seen it 50 times.

lmao at all the people putting "period." after their 'profound statements' as if it means anything.

seriously though: any solution to griefing which has a negative impact on gameplay is off the table.

and the idea that you somehow deserve to lose if your team ever needs to get someone into the CV is silly too. commanders NEED to get out of the command vehicle from time to time, simply to be good commanders. do you really expect people to come back from the front to build one turret next to the CV?

Read the first post of this thread. There is no negative impact on gameplay if it was to be implemented. Ive revised it, the discussion you see between me and jessiah/others happened when he brought up the situation where comm vehicle becomes stranded.
