can we get a flat reload time instead of this arbitrary limitation? - the flight time limit actually promotes the direct fire gren, is that bad or good? I would prefer a flat reload time that is somewhere in between the max flight time and OP rapid fire mortar
Yeah, it promotes those punk ass shot gun mowtar users who get completely raped by rifles and punishes long range pros(who actually help teams) by making them wait forever just to shoot again.
shotgun mortar all the fuckin way, unless you get that fire-by-file action with 2 other grens to do those fuck up fuck shots.
you can increase your firing capabilities by parking an APC at an extreme angle, like 60 degrees, and go in second seat and unload on the base. if you dont have an apc, the commander or engineer would surely build walls at S bend. Sit on a wall closest to the hillside, then e build the wall. then unload over the hill with your new elevation. sit on top of barracks or on the boxes of the barracks, which also gives you an elevation boost. i almost never command slaughter, mainly because i try to mortar over hills. it's effectiveness is limited. in most games, i can maybe take out 2-3 buildings. it is very good against NF turret farms. i tried to mortar and kill clusters of enemy tanks in the choke point, but i would only get 1 kill from doing that. i might get some random infantry kills here and there. on BE, has anyone tried calibrating the position and elevation behind hill to shoot to take down NF barracks (usual placement)? you get speed upgrade at beginning of the game and you rush s-bend and you get into position and hope to mortar enemy barracks before it got up or had chance to be built? it is more like luck. i've failed twice =\. just wondering if someone could or has done it before.
