Should VIPER install an auto join plugin

I was thinking of this as a possible solution to the stacking problems. But I will let all of you decide whether we should do this or not.

The plugin forces you to select auto join instead of selecting a team when joining. You are also allowed to join the spectators.

Results are for public viewing

 

Won't solve the problem, but may reduce it a bit. You could still stack by joining spec/autojoining until you are on the team you want.

 

It'll make things more complicated for the stackers.

Nah it just doesn't work well with empires.
The clans need to stop doing it, if they refuse its up to the admins

Could work. But what I also favour is servers banning the offending clan(s) until they get the point.

 

I'd rather just see you guys warn and then ban people for stacking. Its obvious unless they all change names and then at least the other team doesn't give up before it starts.

 

why ban someone for "just playing together with there friends"

randomizing gives the answer to it imo, admins cant be on 24/7 and banning is ineffective since people don't see the harm in joining that team there friend is in

just try it out, it would be a good experiment

 

well I'm not against trying it but I would rather see them not be able to play since all they want to do is fuck around in the first place.

I agree, I do not want to ban players for being with their friends and clan mates, but I do want the unfair gameplay to stop, so we can get back to everyone having fun while playing.

Since I made the poll let's see how it turns out, then take it from there.

I didn't see it much today on G4TC...mebbe people are calming down.

On a side note, having them able to join means they will wait on spec until they can join the team they want...if they're really that intent on it. I honestly don't know what to do with the problem though...I can't really say auto join is a good idea, but it might not be a bad one.

Im all for this, I auto-assign every game, its really not that big of a deal to do so, everyone that cries about it just needs to suck it up IMO.

If you dont get to play RIGHT NEXT to your friend this round, maybe you can on the next round. Trust me you guys can handle being separated for 15 minutes.

A plugin that forces you to a random team every other game, then allows you to choose the next? Even then it should only be turned on when games are getting stacked
