it hits exactly where you aim with the scope, so it doesn't really matter too much that it sways. l2aim. this is a nonissue.
I find it really annoying for long range shots (which is it's job...) so I just take the carbine. If it didn't have sway it could compete with the other long range rifles. It really pisses me off that I have to take about 10 seconds for a single bodyshot at long range when I could already drop a target with the carbine.
this would be an issue if rifleman had the scout rifle too, but the weapons are in different leagues, given the skillsets of both classes. reducing sway is fine, but eliminating it would be silly. riflemen, on the other hand, could do with sway, or actual reticule kick from firing.
Skillset and scout in the same sentence? Just because a class is less powerful doesn't mean it takes more skill. You just run around and sab things. I don't see a reason to keep sway at all, the original reason was to make the scout rifle less powerful back when it could one shot players, nowadays it takes 3 shots or more so I don't see a point.
I think accuracy reduces sway, could be only me desu. Also I think ironsights should increase accuracy rather than reduce recoil desu. Its counterproductive when you need less recoil close range and more accuracy far desu.
I do body shot at range. It's kinda hard when unless you're at full stam and prone it flies around like your scout has parkinsons.
swaying promotes laying on the ground taking shots from miles away remove it, it serves no use other then to promote wrong (as in non-beneficial) usage of the scout
basically what empty said, i made a weapon pack and everyone bitched and cried about the scout having a shotgun
Um, who did you ask, the vocal minority? If you put the shotty into the next update, as long as it doesnt have glaring issues, the people will accept it. If you have a model, good, if you have the model and the code, great, you should totally go for it.
We were attempting to use the NF SMG3 because it's a close enough model and is about the same quality as other NF view models so it's not a jarring change of quality/style.
