I think with those spikes up the front of a tank, you'd be well dead as soon as it touched you- 15 kilometers per hour is enough speed to punt a massive steel pike right through you. And don't forget, there's tons of horsepower behind a tank, so it doesn't lose momentum from a teeny weenie soldier. But I'm all for people learning to watch where they're going.
Anyone who actually bothered to read the first post will see that this suggestion isn't recommending that kills at 1 mph is ok for all tanks, ONLY low speed kills for HEAVY tanks. massive great HEAVY tanks. slow. cumbersum. the chances of being hit by one are small, and similarly they can only go at very very slow speeds. but given that the NF heavy has massive spikes on the front, and the BE heavy is just massive, being knocked over by one is pretty likely. come on, it's not THAT bad a suggestion goose.
I think though, that BE tanks should do less damage in general, since NF tanks are rusted scraps of heavy metal, brenodi tanks must be something lighter? They also have better maneuverability, right?
NF tanks have much more armor plates than BE tanks have. At least NF heavy tanks have. Is it something 7-8 in front where BE heavy tanks have 6 plates. On the sides NF tanks have 6 plates and BE 5. I think. At least NF tanks have more armor than BE so it is just good thing that BE tanks have more firepower.
But when it comes to ramming, the added weight of the NF tanks should take the cake of running over squishy troops.
I think its totally good now. Just get an engine which can handle heating up better. If the heat cap would be doubled then placing a nuke missile on a heavy and then launching it wouldn't even raise the heat level to 50%. You could easily just keep shooting your railguns and after the nuke has loaded you could still keep shooting and then launch the second nuke before you go to overheated stall. Get 2-3 that kind of heavy tanks and it is bye bye base in less than 1 min.
actually, if I could change one thing, it would be to decrease the rate at which small cannons can fire.
Only thing missiles need is slot size adjustment imho At medium range they're often better than cannons since they fire so fast.
