that actually gives the opposite result and stamina damage is annoying people will get hit, turn at the hmg guy and return fire to kill him before they kill them for the turrets it does not even work properly because they do not do enough damage even if they are near 100% accurate what you need for that is a semi-inaccurate weapon dealing a lot of damage, something like 1 or 2 seconds exposed in its fire and you are dead it should be balanced in a way that fully exposed at medium distances you kill people easy, but if they get cover the favours turn against you so if you are fully exposed, you will search for cover first, then return fire its tricky though
i said it will be like turrets high rate of fire, high accuracy low low low damage noone fears turrets, people just take em out and turrets have the advantage of always hitting goal even if they technically cant see it... so players with hmg would be like a turret lvl1 but worse also i find it quite unlikely you "never" said "turrets" in this forum
i have to rely on doing a headshot = 50ish damage when attacking medium range. took out like 3 people at medium range with HMG at once XD... but only cause they were being distracted by some engineers who were more of a threat than me. i think if they focused fire on me, id be fucked.
