    The gamespeed thing threw me off. I did the final config via ipod in a hurry, and set it higher than I thought.

    This is a newer version of what Angry did. It has bugs, but it's no where near as broken as far as I can tell.

    The "newer version" is an ugly hackjob. For example, in the original code, made by someone who actually knew how to make decent PHP scripts, he made a half-complete function relating to vacation mode. In the "new version" instead of finishing the function and putting it to use, they just made a new one AND LEFT THE OLD ONE AS IS! They didnt even bother to remove it. The people working on it have no clue what they are doing.

    It's not that easy. They decided that instead of using the SQL variable names in the incomplete function, they should make new variables in yet more languages. You would have to completely wipe your database, and I would have to make some additions to the install script to set up the proper variables.

    Also, Angry advised me not to give out the scripts to anyone.

    There may be some down time coming up, sorry guys, but its for the better. v1.25 is released. The guy working on this didnt update his OP with the patches between 1.0 and 1.25, so I only just found out theres updates when he updated his OP from 1.0 to 1.25. I'm hoping this will fix some of the issues perplexing me (like rocket launchers needing a god damn day to build D: )

    Ok, its up to you guys. We can upgrade to 1.25 and restart (considering whats needed to upgrade and keep the users, I can't, I just don't have the time, it's immense), or stick with 1.0.

    To help you decide, I have 1.25 running at http://ogame-test.kolntus-emin.net/

    To me, it does seem better, but it's up to you guys.

    Edit: The new one will be reset if decided upon, so that everyone starts on fair ground. It will be moved to the old ogame url and the old on will be gone. This should be the end of the restarts. No major releases of this are going to come out before my exams next week, and after that in the following months I will have the time to properly port to a new version when and if one comes out.

    This version 1.25 is very broken...
    It seems registering doesn't create a planet.
    Which causes several other problems.

    Weeeee iPod ftw. But yea, new users are screwed up. Preinstalled admin is fine it looks like :| The test one will remain as testbed for new versions prior to them becoming primary.
