    The drawable minimap had really bad bug issues that were basically going to be impossible to overcome. Before we started with this whole porting to 2013 business, Beerdude was in the middle of rewriting the entire GUI.

    Based off what I've heard about it from Beerdude, it'd certainly be more feasible than in the current GUI, but I'd rather leave the final answer to him, it being his area and all.

    Okay, but don't let your hopes get up or get crushed based of what I say.

    It's actually been in a "playable" state for a good bit now, but the remaining bugs mainly have to deal with things not rendering properly, causing certain models and brushes to not appear. The bug I made progress on was the major bug involving that, but there's still a few problems that put it in the state of "You can play on it, but god forbid it gets released publicly"
