$25 is about the limit for me, I still have yet to beat HL2 and TF2 does not excite me. It depends on features, is the game multiplayer, is there a level editor, stuff like that. Can mods feature that portal weapon?
Do we know for sure that all three will be bundled in the one package? If so I'd pay maybe €30 for them. quid can also be used for euros. You just have to know where the person is from. Generally it's an Irish/British term because we both used pounds for so long.
Well, yet it's not 100% clear, that all 3 games are released on one DVD. It seems, that TF2 will be the multiplayermodus of HL2:Episode2, but Portal...
It's the steam price for Ep2 pack as far as I know $19.95... All three with that price. This is the original game that the Portal is based on. It's quite fun game actually. Only down side is that it's only 6 levels long. Puzzles are teh fun.
Holy crap! Quoted from 4chan (I know, it's 4chan, but still a very interesting point) : He's right about that guy, you play as him in Opp. Force. BTW, the voice in the trailer says the ASHPD thing, or at least what it stands for.
I don't think we'll play Adrian Shepard in Portal, because the architecture, the sentry guns...that all doesn't look like the combine-controled earth. And in the first seconds of the video you can read "Aperture Laboratories"...
But the G-Man is has that power. He already brought Gordon from a non-combine ruled world into one. Who says he can't bring Shepard from Hl1 into this other, Half Life based world? One of the biggest things about the plot is G-Man, and I'm sure that carried into Portal...
I am. I'm just being incredibly optimistic about the Episode 2 price, right now. Valve has said that each episode will be only twenty bucks, and both Portal and Team Fortress 2 are going to be packaged with Episode 2, sooo... I'm pretty sure they won't go back on their word, there. As for the Adrian Shepard thing, though, I was suspecting it might be him as soon as I heard that it was both based in the Half-Life universe and that you would use a hand-held portal gun. I mean, he certainly seems like the perfect candidate for such a game. Whatevs. And they've just released an extended Episode 2 trailer. Among the new stuff seen: -Cinematic physics! Bridge collapses with twisting metal girders and fracturing concrete. It is sex. -New lighting and a high-res skin for the Vortigaunt in the scene where he/she/it carries Alyx and sets her down on the table. You can find a comparison video here. -Ministrider/strider combat in a bigass forest setting. The forest looks simply amazing. -New Vortigaunt attack, along with what I guess is another aspect of the new lighting system.
G-Man never brought Gordon to a combine ruled world. Gordon was sent to combined ruled Xen by the scientists of Black Mesa. There is was caputred by G-Man, brought back to earth and released some years later where yet the combine had taken control, after realizing, that there was more than Xen.
Are we sure, that the video, released by Valve some days ago, is the same video, like shown on the E3? I remember of some previews, articles, whatever, which told about a soldier using the portal gun. The man from the video, we saw, looks more like a prisoner, than a soldier to me.
