having the hotkey to access the squad power menu and leave squad command both set to S is insanely annoying. i have accidentally left squad lead when trying to use the artillery power on level 3 turrets before they rape me to death with pinpoint accuracy. change leave squad to W or at least not S.
I would almost say remove the hotkey for 'leave squad' entirely, or put it someplace out of the way at least. It isn't something people are going to want to hit very often (usually, when you leave a squad, you'll be doing it by joining another squad anyway, and won't go through the voice menu.)
I agree.. take it out of the F menu and leave it to the C squad menu thingy.. You wont accidently hit it there.. So many fuckin times I have gone to arty a tank or giant group of people only to leave on accident and then have some noob get squad leader who doesnt read
Yep. Now when we have the squad menu, we don't need the leave squad thing in the radio menu. Also could there be a kick squadleader vote button? Because if a squad had like 60 squad points and none has been used because of squad leader who's being afk, the squad's members could kick the leader out of their squad and then use the squad points. It is very annoying when you see that your squad has massive amount of points and you could use them to help your team but because of one retard you can't use them at all.

Here are a few short cuts that I bound to my extra mouse buttons, so I don't need to use the squad menu, normally: Code: bind ANYKEY1 "emp_menu_quickcmd 6 1" // SPower1 bind ANYKEY2 "emp_menu_quickcmd 6 3" // SPower2 bind ANYKEY3 "emp_menu_quickcmd 2 0" // Enemy Spotted
Like L3TUC3 suggested in another thread, putting such code into the class-specific CFG will allow you to swap the keys for SL powers so that the "good" one is always on the same key no matter which class you choose.
Maby You shouldn't do that and the "good" skill should always be under the certain button (f.e. left). That seems like trivial to code and can be done "by the way" while fixing the leave squad hotkey.
