    So I'm planning on pushing an update out next week that consists mainly of bugfixes, but these are some major bug fixes. Don't have a full changelog yet, but here are some of the major ones:

    • Possibly fixed collisions, will need actual testing to confirm
    • Fixed the shotgun so there's no way to avoid pumping it
    • Fixed the game killing players jumping into the sides of buildings
    • Fixed one of the causes of bouncing mortars
    • New death sounds and vehicle MG sounds

    There's a lot of others, mostly small ones, but those are the big ones in my view. I'm not expecting a lot of players because we don't need many and it's only a week of notice, but the more we get, the better it'll go. If collisions still aren't fixed, then it should become almost immediately apparent when people spawn; we'll most likely just do a round of district and a round of crossroads, unless we get enough for something like duststorm. It's also a partial test to see if any of the work in progress stuff would break the update; there's been some modifications of certain asset files that shouldn't have an actual effect on the game, but just want to be certain. Also, the new death sounds have been iffy for some people, so I want to make sure they work for everyone.

    Anyway, hope to see some people there. If there aren't any major issues and all goes well, I'll push out the update right after the test.

    I don't know what death sounds you have, but I've been using death sounds from angry for a few weeks. They work fine, but it's just a quick file replacement. Nothing exotic. I suspect Angry might be utilizing that new sound infrastructure that you created.

    Question, was the shotgun sound fixed too? Cause I thought someone said angry made some new sounds for them and it is annoying to die from something you can't hear. Will probably attend, Not to sure til like a before really.

    Shotgun sounds got fixed, yeah.

    EDIT: Turns out that the viewmodel sounds are fixed, but not the worldmodel sounds, so I'll try and get that sorted before Saturday.

    That hasn't been changed yet and isn't going to get pushed out anytime soon.

    And it wasn't removed, it's only that two comm's can't build in each others radius.

    Have a look at why sprays still don't work for most? Its not game breaking but, it sure is soul wrenching not being able to properly give enemies the middle finger figuratively.

    is that a new bug or something thats been around for a while? Never seen that happen.

    I don't think I have ever launched a slow rpg, but I did once slice the ground with an rpg and it really really slow, it was bizarre.

    What exactly do you mean by that? The rocket hit the ground and instead of exploding started to move along the ground in slow motion?

    I forget how it happened but I have this screenshot of tanks firing missiles through slaughtered and they were travelling really really slowly. This was from last year probably, don't really remember when, but before august at least.

    Oh that thing. Ive seen that like once or twice randomly, but only with vehicle MLS, never rpgs.
    Looks awesome though.

    If you fire at the ground at a specific angle you can make RPGs do that. It's a really really old bug.

    There's apparently a bug similar to that in HL2Deathmatch where if you shoot a spider mine with the crossbow the bolt will shoot across the ground really fast

    bugs:
    If a vehicle dies while shooting an MG the sound NEVER stops, not even after the corpse dissapears.

    If you hold the vehicle mg button while it overheats the sound still plays

    Someone else shooting a shotgun sounds like a mortar

    Holding down the fire button for shotgun is weird

    When you die sometimes you gurgle cum instead of making a proper death sou nd.

    Place mine at ground, fire at top right corner of mine. Rocket will face the ground but move very slowly forward.

    Some people like death more than others, there is nothing wrong with this and you should learn to accept it or you shall be ashamed of yourself.
