I don't know if this is intentional or not but you can see enemy muzzleflashes through smoke grenades and then shoot them XD
I've asked beerdude to put these into the testing version of empires. Feel free to post any further feedback on the changes in here. It'll also be interesting to see what people think of the muzzleflash effect at distance (since everyone in the testing version will be using it, it won't be slightly cheating anymore) Report issues etc in here. I'm on the fence with flashes showing up through smoke. I'll have a look at it.
the mortar explosion looks a bit too comical, I like the flash, but the flame is just too red, and too big to not have a lot of smoke come out of it.

The smoke is fine but the explosion seems too bright and in my opinion far too big. Burns my eyes: I really like the new HEmg particles and the greensmoke when using Biomg.
