Seems source has this nice feature build in which allows for custom map configs to be executed. Some of the things that have been placed in this config for escort_beta3 is: We had quite a nice epic battle between NF and BE on the escort map yesterday evening resulting in very nice attacks from the NF which packed quite a punch. One of the things we noticed then however was the spawn protection glitch, allowing the BE soldiers to just rush in the with the standard 3sec protection they have after spawning and killing about 3 to 4 people before getting killed them self. This was the main reason why the protection has been set to 0, thus disabling it. If you people know any other things that would be considered a nice update to the playability of the map, please let me know!
How do you mean this exactly? Only NF has the ability to build tanks on the escort maps or do you want the NF also to be able to use the chassis BE has for tank-customization?
I have an awesome idea on escort, BE can build either BE or NF jeeps, apcs, light, medium, or heavy tanks This will amuse me greatly also, NF jeeps could be useful to BE on that map
that removing Mvalley was a communication error, they said to not put on emp_valley not emp_mvalley. Which if you've played emp_valley you would totally understand this.
Sooooo... the napalm server is back and all players have moved back to those ?! Guess my empty server is no longer needed then?
Is it just me here or are most ppl here not bothered about anything and just read in between the lines? You might want to have a look at this post, it should clear things up quite a bit. I'm beginning to wonder if I was better of hosting counterstrike servers. At least then I knew what kind of people I could expect.... Who are you ingame then? What is your nickname / steamid so I could check if you were banned on the server and for what reason.
The people seem to act very ungratefull towards you and your server Rawh, let me apologise in name of the whole community for this, but it is my belief that the community is just to small at this point for the amount of servers we have
read your post, ok you say you slay people for it w/e still not the greatest incentive to go. I just remember reading some post you made about the deal a while ago that ark closed and you were going to be cracking down on it or some shit. And I dont really appriciate your between the lines dissing of me there, mine was a perfectly honest post and strait to the point. I simply never went there because people playin in game have told me you get banned for nine mining there, so why bother going to a server with that rep? maybe there had been some gap in communication but everyone that heard that prolly got the same vibe I did about the server and hence it being empty. and no I havnt read every single post you've ever made.
I recommend that someone who wants to create a server for Empires play at least 100 hours before trying. There's no way to know what to do if you don't have enough experience.
