i was going to ask if cpatton still played empires to gauge how much more of the game will be ruptured, but I see that he's only in charge of PR. However, I am still curious. Anyway, lol.
We need PR, it's true...our main site looks like it's from the dark ages, and while that kinda fits the mod...doesn't help our cause much. The last good PR we had was Evan's 2.0 site which was pretty good actually, hopefully we can turn our regular site into something much better. And all those Media Packs Killx put together half a dozen times? Seconded. The main website and moddb page really could use some updates. The team page contains many no longer active devs, and doesn't have the new devs on it. The media page is also pretty underwhelming. Redoing those things would greatly enhance PR.
#1, I'm a coder first, lol ounin I trolls. Second, I happen to be fucking good at PR, like I said though it won't take enough time. I'll put a little work into whatever I get access to. Seems like some requests are moddb, main page, as examples.

Yeah, that slowed down from rl stuff, but I should have more free time to work on it next week. I'll probably need some actors later on, but the first half dozen scripts or so are pretty much solo work (open menu, point at menu, close menu stuff).

I am one. Reasons for going away is because of how 2.25 was handled. I will post because I have nothing to loose at this point. I would join but it seems that every time I have tried the last three-four years failed. Only recently things happened again and I didn't have the time or patience to wait an other year. Now that things could be happened, hell, might as well try something.
But this is the reason I have left. A lot of the people here are basically whores, or people who suck up hard to admins. They tend to overlap a lot though. On a slightly more serious note on what you said, I do map when I feel like this mod isn't wasting away. I do script and know how to balance, but no one really seemed to care. I post this again because of the HURRR DURR stupid of what Keef said and proving Omnehs point. Then again, I can't blame anyone but Keef for this action, but I can't even really blame Keef. He always disliked me for some reason.
Honestly I can't say I know what you are talkig about with regards to Keef. However, with regards to balance, scripting, etc. I've spent hours on end discussing this stuff with Spawwn. I come back around to it in consideration of balance and direction every time something new is proposed. Hi me up on SF Cyber...
