When i was playing today i used my sniper scope and all i saw was a crosshair and all blue so i can't use scope and it is cuz of pixel shaders i am so bloody sick of my graphics card, memory, hard drive or anything else being crappy i am so f*cking sick of it plz help
I'm sure the scope is going to get fixed sooner or later. Not sure how else I could help than acknowledge that your pc is shit, I guess.
Errg the scout rifle is nerfed am i wrong?and why in the name of god would a simple thing like a f*cking scope be so "advanced" that my card won't take it?
I believe the scout was reverted back to 1.07 settings, so it shouldn't be nerfed, add to that you can aim for the head for more damage now. and yes its really advanced, its so fucking awesome it'll blow your head off just looking at it... ...hah nah I don't know why it would require PS3, thats what everyone is saying, it works fine for me and is just a standard scope view, I really don't know.
The reason your graphics card can't render it is because it uses the Refract shader. Change it to any other model shader and it'll look normal.
Ok, here goes: Download Read the instructions in the thingy and following them accordingly. Try it out ingame (Only for NF) and reply back in this thread so I know if it worked.
Also, giving your system specs in thread like this helps a lot. You could also have other conflicting things.
To be honest I'm beginning to suspect the new empires is heavier than most games graphically. My graphics screw up all the time when playing the new empires beta with all sorts of warnings that my graphics card is over heating, but never with any other game on my computer. I think I may have to stop playing the beta for the sake of my computer...otherwise I predict a melt down  + I have a nvidia 6800 512mb (special edition) so it shouldn't be going wrong as my old radeon 9600 could handle hl2...
I'm using ati x800, not the most recent card, and everything goes as smooth as possible. Except vehicle aiming, but that's a whole different story.
ATI 9xxx and xxx cards are Shader 2 ATI's 1xxx and Nvidia's 6xxx, 7xxx are shader 3... assuming no one has the 5 series anymore *shudders*
with some tweaks you would be able to run hl2 on a geforce2mx with a constant fps of 30-40, I've tried it a friend and I know you can play fine on any 9xxx series.
The only game I cannot run is Tom Clany's Rainbow Six Vegas, because it requires the latest Shader Model or something, and I have the version before it. That's the only game.
