    Fuck me sideways. You not only blew some of the old Empires music out of the water, it's out of orbit and heading to Alpha Centari.

    This music has to be in the steam release. We all know that the Steam release is a one shot opportunity, and since we can't get aircraft, this is the next best thing. It's kinda fiddly comparing music to aircraft, but I'm certain that if there was a measurable scale, this music would be worth 3.6 blimps.

    aaaaaa50, I always thought steam was our only shot, but it isn't. We can have a nice quiet release on steam and push for PR later. Which is what I hope we'll be doing, and then hopefully we can come to some arrangement about this phenomenal music.

    Have other mods done this? I'm kinda skeptical, since even if there's no PR all the big mod sites will jump on Empires for sure. Empires is an olden goldie HL2 mod by now, and big news like a Steam release probably (in my opinion) will get it's own PR by virtue of just being big deal news. Unless some other mods have released on Steam without getting big PR, I don't see how Empires (which is a big-deal mod) could quietly do so.

    I'd happily do some official music to Empires based on these themes I used here. I'm kind of surprised by all the positive feedback :D I'm glad you like it.
