I think we all know the moddb editors haven't really been fans of Empires since their review of 1.0, and I'm not surprised they didn't award us anything. I'm much happier with the multi-genre award which was voted by the community rather than by 4 people who run moddb.
multigenre is always a good award.. Its very hard to create a game that incorperates genres into one solid believeble story/gameplay
I believe he is referring to this review. But of course, if you check out the profile of the guy who wrote the review, you'll see this ingenius mod.

And there you have it folks. That's why 1.0 was released the way it was. It's all Enzo's fault! He told me it was ready. It was funny how Valve e-mailed me offering to test it only three days before 1.0's release. They have great timing.
Maybe after 1.08 is out, and the creases have been ironed out, you can ask for a new review. Since it got 70% last time, it can only get better. 1.0 was dead laggy, but fun as I had never played a game like that before, and hey, that's why 'beta' was stuck on the end of the name.
The old moddb review was funny because the guy who wrote it didn't spend enough time playing to figure out how to work like, half the game. :p
I love how in the 1.0 review he enlarges and bold's his retarded sense of humor that have absoluetly nothing to do with the review. Looking at the flames on the review makes me laugh as well. WHAT IS HIS PROBLEM? "Also, the RPG in this mod is a total joke. I spent at least five rockets just to destroy a single turret. Sort it out." He's obviously never heard of balance before. Was he the one who posted about making the running speed increase two folds and buff rpg weapons to 2 shot kills? Shiiiiiiit this isnt deathmacth =.= Lets race to see who can find the most stupidity out of moddb. Oooh or someone should review them.
