LoL I know exactly what your talking about. It was the artilery rockets. The rocket pod was bigger than the chasies and wheels stuck under it lol.
Why not a tank like the mammouth (did i write this correctly :B?) tank (like that one from red alert 1)? The chassis should cost 1500, 7 armor slots on each side (except the rear, there maybe 3 (it needs a weak point)), 2 armor-type slots, 8 cannon slots (4 for each cannon) and 6 ml slots (3 for each launcher) EDIT: ROFLS! SEE WHAT I FOUND WHEN I GOOGLED FOR MAMMUT PANZER! And here a mammouth tank: ANOTHER EDIT: Maybe make the turret of the mammouth tank moving a quarter slower than that of the heavy tank. It would be very vulnerable from behind so!

what I would like to see is the tank hunter and a stealth tech that makes stealth-"armour" available! I have sympathy for Krenzos current situation though, so I'm not seriously asking for this untill airplanes are out. Btw.: stealth armour shouldn't be real armour. It should be weaker than normal armour and work something like the scout ability. When moving it has a sort of haze attached to it. See it as a sort of wash effect you get on some of the slower monitors (20+ ms) or when you overclock your graphics card too much, so the bottum half of the screen gets refreshed earlier. (tearing effect) :D
Im all for making diffrent veichles, but to make those, currently we just don't have enough weapons avalable; For a tank hunter; it would require a special cannon, the biggest one we have is the railgun, and the heavy can hold 2 of em... For a ML tank I don't think the current ML spammers are up to par; or I see nukes being abused (2 slot nuke ML?) and you thought 1 was bad... What I would like to see though is faction only tanks... As an example Brendi get some sort of a high tech stealth tank thingy or a super heavy tank like the mammonth.... While the NF get either a huge arse missle spamming tank, or a tank destroyer (Medium class chassis with special gun type that is amazing against tanks but useless against buildings; or something of that nature)
I think being able to fit the chassis we have atm with different turrets, having different weapon slots, would also be a possibility.
If incorporated in the research tree in the way I've described, I'm all for that. Not a bad idea. Maybe allow the commanders to combine different parts, and then research the combination so it becomes available.
It would be great if some techs are restricted for the NF, some for the BE. Like this: LT´s only for NF Meds only for BE Heavies only for BE Arty only for NF High Exlposive only for BE (fixing gay-arties on escort) Nuke only for NF (fixing gay-nuke on escort) and so on...
Or we could give the LT to NF, then give them both thier own different version of the heavy and medium.
we want the game to be balanced and also about tactical choices. there's no point in limiting people to strict movements. but currently, we do have a system of elitism: such as the NF lt is much better than the BE version, but these are subtle and don't limit people.
Somebody has played a lot of Red Alert :D I like it though. Obviously it would take a long time to model, etc and can't be included in 1.08. But down the road.... The more options there are, the more potential for balance there is.
I really like the medium APC, and of course the quality of the diagram is vastly improved over previous versions. While I never used the radar jammer in RA2, if it blocked radar and camera, I think it would be a very strategic asset.
Also, don't forget that as soon as the Aircraft are released we'll probably see one or two anti-air vehicles.
Yep... I would have drawn a concept for an anti-air vehicle, but I heard they're already modelling or have modelled one.
