Trawling this forum, I've noticed there's a stickied clan listing but no one thread dedicated to the mission statements of each clan so we can see what they are all about. To make it easy for players to choose which clan may be the best for them, I thought a dedicated thread might be useful. I'm anticipating getting pwned by someone pointing out there's already one somewhere.
So what's the main differences between JPL and CW? (if any...I guess). Is it all down to who's in it? I mean, if that's the only reason...why bother having separate clans?
JPL is invite only. CW accepts applications CW is civic minded, JPL is fun minded JPL doesnt have ranks. CW has ranks/squads

Curse you and your wily ways! Another difference is that OnE has allot of resources at their disposal, since they are quite a large clan/community/whatever. Whereas CW and I'm pretty sure JPl as well, are empires only clans.
jpl recruits people they think are cool and fun cw recruits by amounts jpl lets everyone speak for them selfs cw doesnt want there members to speak freely jpl has no ranks but does have squads cw likes to rank each other
