I guess you're close enough. 10,000 Bones is set during the Warlord Period of China, otherwise known as the Chinese Republic, and spans from 1919 to 1927 when the Northern Expedition brought most of the warlords in line and set up the Chinese Civil War (Expansion pack, anyone?). I've always thought World War I was an under served portion of history but at the same time did not want another Briton/France/US against Germany game. The Chinese Warlord period is perfect. I am going to capture the important parts of the struggle: Dar-2-Die units armed with two handed swords and grenades, Bandits who might pillage your own villages or fight on your side, Clansmen armed with muskets, White Russian Mercenaries, Revolutionaries who might charge without orders, Jingal units, Mortars, Heavy machine guns, Bribery, Black markets, Adventurers seeking their fortunes, Russian/German/Japanese/American/British/French/Italian weapons, Cavalry on horseback along side tanks and armored cars, Foreign government intervention, Fokker DVIII fighters and French medium bombers, Artillery, Looting, Hand-2-hand combat, and Generals with names like "Tiger of the North" or the "Jade Marshal" Its going to be really amazing. And yes, the German Machine Pistols were fired sideways and they will be in 10kb as well.
