What. The fuck. Is wrong. With you. The only reason you aren't banned from everything on the internet is because you're a talking point. A freak. A clown. I'm drunk.
game developers but them there for a reason. they developed those characters and sometimes put a great deal of effort in designing them. sex appeal is a factor that sell games. i bet if empires had boobies up the wazoo, it'd sell like hotcakes.
I don't think it would, Empires is too serious to do stupid stuff like this. Try Diablo 3, the final boss has assets.
Alucard take your faggotry baggage somewhere else. /h/ or even better /b/ can satiate your fucked up desires.
I once asked Shitstorm why he hated religious people so much, and why he couldn't let them be. He responded (I paraphrase, of course), that religion people perpetuate a cycle of willful ignorance by merely existing, and that therefore in hating them he is merely opposing this cycle of ignorance. Although I disagreed (and still do disagree) with that statement as a reason to look down upon religious people, I now understand his sentiment a little better. People like you are the very reason why sex sells. Overly horny people like you who salivate over pixels and jerk off to misogyny are the very reason why this is marketable. And your implication that the reason why this sort of stuff is acceptable because developers make games where this sort of stuff is accepted is therefore frankly an absurd and an insane implication. You may argue as much as you wish that society sexualizes and objectifies women, and that thereby you need not expiate your deviancy, but keep in mind that you are part of that very society that does this stupid shit, and that therefore, you are, by extension, a stupid shit (and I mean that as nicely as possible).
Alucard please stop asking for advice for your youtube shit on empires, stop advertizing it here, and just stop being awkward on purpose. I know there is a functional human-being inside you, please just grow up. Be grateful there are retarded people like me willing to stick up for you even while your in the wrong. So please make my job easier and just stop the shenanigans, and just keep shit to yourself.
I wonder if it's worse to refuse to recognize your urges, sexual or otherwise. It's like race blindness. It sounds great, but you just can't do it. You can't be a racist either. There's a middle ground where you have to be aware of your urges and manage them, not try to ignore them. I don't know if alucard is helping society with his preferences, but I would speculate that it would be easier to "fix" a population of alucards than a population of those in denial.
but imspartacus, what about nihilist and existentialist who really don't give a shit about all that stuff. what about them man. what about.
We aren't in denial, we're just keeping things separate when they ought to be, not using one at the expense of the other to pander to the lowest common denominator. I can't name a single good (good gameplay and good plot) game with an over sexualized female lead. This is because the kind of game that wants the "boobs" crowd are not the same people interested in making good games, just money. Even Metro Last Light put enough effort into animation and texture for a strip tease and a sex scene that could have been otherwise used for it's fucking pitiful lifespan, or a more satisying / less COD-like ending. In essence, boob games are, at most, on par with: whatever COD4 clone is currently popular, film adaptations, sports games, etc. Porn should just stick to porn. And Skyrim mods.
Nobody says anything about refusing to recognize your sexual urges. But blatantly oversexualizing video game characters is akin to making pornography that has an overly intricate and confusing plot line with no actual sex scenes. If I want to indulge in my sexual urges by media, I'll watch porn. If I want to play a meaningful videogame, I'd like it to not have a female character with DDD boobs, running around in a bikini in the middle of a warzone, inexplicably managing to keep all her make-up perfect whilst dodging bullets that somehow hit her less "sexy" comrades. I don't want to read graphic pornography in the middle of Oliver Twist. Keep the two things separate.
For me, having sexual stuff in a video game just feels awkward. I makes me uncomfortable. It just doesn't belong there.
That's exactly the kind of reaction that my religious friends have when we're around anything sexual. It's stupid shit like, "don't say vagina, that's demeaning." It's the old ladies that walk up to people in low slung pants and pull up their pants to cover their under garments or pull down their shirts to cover their midriffs. From my perspective, those people seem insecure about their sexuality and sexually repressed all around. So I try to imagine if we look equally insecure to people like alucard when we say that sexualized media is demeaning. To me, you have to realize that your perspective isn't all encompassing.
