Looking for mine tactics: need some help...

The sad part is I wait up there for like 10 minutes at a time waiting for you to come by. God I have no life.

 

otherwise you're right, i always get the mine defuse upgrade asap and whenever i see a suicidial guy like you, i am glad the hevy can fit a HE cannon with nuke for defense purpose LOL.

As for the mines, i'd be glad to get out and defuse it and risk getting my tank stolen or some idiot trip it with me in the middle of defusing lol

I hate how morons always used to step on the mine I happened to be defusing.


You'd think people would start looking at the floor when they've been mined a few 100 times, but nooo...

 

Why would anyone want to go into the radar, except to hide?

 

These are obvious, but effective.

Whenever I'm desperate, as in on the verge of losing, I just lay single rows of mines on the few canyon passes. More than half the time a tank player not watching where he's going will die. Of course the surrounding mines will explode aswell, which is why I only put them in groups of 4. Quickly replace the mines and the same premise will happen scant seconds later.

If you're toe to toe against an arty, move in close. The player will either back up and try firing from minimal range, or hop out and small arm you to death. Just quickly place a mine in front and back of the arty/tank, whatever.

Really these only work by basing upon that the opposing player is in too much of a rush (Or panic) to notice. More than half the time these work for me.

I usually just mortar tanks, very effectively too, but I rush and therefore die alot.

 

No offense Slith, but there is honestly no point in saying how good you are ("Damn effectivly too"), because it doesn't actually make you sound like a better player, only rather arrogant. aditionally, it isn't helping, it's just gloating.

only other players can big you up.

 

I sneak on escort as NF from 3rd to 2nd flag and mine ammo boxes, ladders and so on. Mines on ammo boxes won't be triggered by other mines.

 

I don't claim to be the best, anymore. Four months probably broke me down, but I used to be cheese, sure, I died alot, but when a grenadier can 50/50 a rifleman I at least take it for myself to call me good, whatever the rest thinks.
