The problem with that, khan, is that planets have poles. It looks lovely, hopefully the fact that there will be other people playing won't make it annoying as hell.
I am aware of this, however a natural defensive ring plus a shit load of defensive stations with long range mass drivers should deter even the hardiest of threats.
well... you can play it for free if you submit some stuff so Im thinking about making 1-2 models to get a free account
I'm playing X3 again because I really want to get into a space sim, but then I realize it's just an attempt to fill a void and now I is sad
i played X2 for quite a long time and was very exited to start X3 when it came out. the first few releases where unplayable due to low fps and constant crashing. then they fixed that, but i realized X3 is exactly the same as X2 just with better graphics (except that all stations looked the same). then a friend got X3:TC and told me, "but this ones really different" ... well bullshit ... what do i want to say? dunno, X is a great series, but it lacks replayability
I'm just waiting for Naumachia to release. Seems like it is getting close to having a beta release...
if its the first time you play, i bet its still superawesome :D i assume you have lots of mods installed already, if not when i played the game had a very active modding community
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ED-YF-v7WCw Have you guys seen lol dust? The most kickass part about this compared to something like Eve, is you can always migrate to find somewhere to claim as your own due to the size of the universe. That drove me crazy about Eve, not being able to find somewhere REALLY remote, everywhere was claimed.
