Nah i mean most space sims dont get the "lonlyness in space" feeling right imo. This looks like they are on the right way.
Need to make/join a gaming club, so you go out for sessions instead. Lol, HSM's house of rage could be a real life place :D Ah ship life...i'm always torn between the lone ranger agile fighter ship and the cruiser with half a dozen people on it flying through space and livin' life firefly style.
I intend on getting a cruiser carrier, and then getting about 5-6 close buds with fighters, and then go about the galaxy to carve a tiny bit of territory for ourselves.
Dude, I'd totally support that. Aus/NZ timezones being similar, I porbably wouldn't be too out of sync either.
Sounds like you've already got an Empire goin'. At least you've got a good while to get a forums, faction and decide who you wanna crush. Heh, if you start early enough, you could become one of the major players for the universe
I noticed that right after I posted... I just hoped no one would notice... That is the plan. My main goal is to set up a trade hub for pirates/mercs/thugs in a nuetral, no-fire zone. And use those profits to fund ship expenses. Hehe. Yeah, I've thought about this for awhile. I want to be the guy you go to when you want to buy, sell, trade, hide, set up a neutral area for negotiations, or just have a friendly chat. Basically, the guy everyone knows. Or be a grieving douche bag, hiding in the lower atmosphere of a gas giant befoer I pop out under a veil of dust, delivering every level of hell on your tiny hauler just for shits and giggles... Or spend 1-2 years around a ring planet, installing each large asteroid in the ring with anti-ship weapons so when someone pops near the planet, he's all like "WTF IS THIS OH GOD MY ASS!!! AARRRHHFFJSLDUFHNSKL"
That's cool, I like the idea of forming a small band of mercs who hit and run juicy targets, or hire ourselves out to highest bidder
As if no one else wanted to do that and the majority of players act as law abiding citizens cargoing huge shipments of high value goods with minimal defenses.
I didn't say that I was going to do that, just that I liked the idea. Also, law abiding citizens are FUCKING DANGEROUS
I don't believe so, but natural phenomena can blow up planets. However, you can bombard and destroy cities from orbit, lulz.
Rip off of EVE (just like ND is a ripoff of Empires {which was a rip off of [insert game here]}, repeat previous block).
