There is a disagreement among us as to what to do. The Scout rifle should be very low damage but very high accuracy. Constantly. Useless in close quarters, only used for head shots at range. The current rifle is disgusting.
Why not Exchange the Scout Sniper Rifle with a Low damage High Accuacy Semi-Automatic Range Rifle? Just like the Semi-Automatic Rifle in DOD on the Allies Side, Only add a scope. Also, Why give the sniper the ability to be invisible?!?! Give the enemy a chance at least. Non Related-------------- The NF Rifle Looks Like a Stick...And Has HIGH RECOIL!
It's not a sniper...............It's a scout so it should be invisible, and NF weapons are supposed to look and behave in a primitive fashion.
Ive spoken with Krenz, and we can have relief from the reign of terror from the scout rifle after some more scout features are implamented.

I'm glad to hear that. We can finally get rid off that blasted chinese AWP(don't start the AWP/AWM stupidity here, they're just two different versions of the same rifle) copy... So are there any dirty pictures of the NF Aircraft factory? The BE one has already done a lot of dirty dancing, but I'd like to see the NF one as well. :p
I'm rather surprised that everyone seems to want the sniper rifle yanked. I've personally shot stationary people with it in excess of 6 times from a reasonable distance and not scored the kill. Personally, I'd like to see whatever caused that to be resolved, and the rifle to stay in or to be given to another class. Seems silly not to have a sniper, especially on such huge maps with wide areas.
u do not understand, i think. the problem is, within a range of a lvl 1 turret beign able to hit you, scout becomes awp with more ammo. do u really want to be engy trying to build base, and outta nowhere three scouts with hide and rifles kill u, than spawn camp? HUH??
Well even that would be better than the current situation where a amped up rifleman dies from one running shot at close by some sniper-pre-teen whose balls haven't even fallen yet...
if you cant defeat a scout as a rifleman, dont play by their rules... cant see the problem people have with scouts they are merly a nuisance at best...
+1 At short ranges, the scout rifle might be rather powerful, but over long range, it's accuracy is absolutely crap, even when crouched. There are two solutions; Make the current scout rifle into nothing more than a 2x-3x scoped version of the standard BE rifle (keeping the binocs for spotting) and make a seperate sniper rifle that's single shot breech-load (for long reload anims) or something, that is pisspoor accurate unless you're crouching (possibly proned if that's ever done) AND scoped.
