Right then guys time for the community to do something, Alot of us if not all of us use the gui that he has produced without the silly sounds and its damn good. So i am starting a petition to get this made offcial without the silly easter eggs all i want from yourselves is a yes we want it in 2.25 no drawn out converstions jsut a yes will do. As long I can still use the default GUI since Nesquiko's is to cartoon style for me. Also I prefer blue than black. Why actually make it default at all? Everyone is happy at the moment. The one that prefer the default GUI like me are happy and the one that prefer Nesquiko's theme GUI can download and install it and be happy too.
I wouldn't mind if we could make empires... well.. lol MOD friendly. Make a pack and stick it in a MOD directory and empires detects all mods in that directory and allows the players to 'enable' the mod.
Because if they ever do implement sv_pure everyone with the custom GUI would be kicked instantly the minute they join a game.. Besides that new users might not like the old GUI and uninstall the game because of that.. shallow, but it happens. >>> Count me in! <<<
I installed it this morning and when I join VIPER server i get an error message saying Disconnected: Server uses different class tables. I extracted 0.02.zip to Empires folder and said yes to overwrite all. Any ideas how to fix this?
You failed to follow the directions. You now have some really annoying custom sounds for commanding. You need to reinstall or get the unmodified original files off another player.
I support. His GUI looks sleek, whereas the official one looks like a Adobe Photoshop Bevel & Emboss accident
If you think I didn't follow directions, tell me where I didn't. I do not have any sounds because I cant get into any servers with it installed. It disconnects me before enter saying the server has different class tables. I backed up the original but I followed the directions as far as I can tell I even redid it this time extracting first then copying, which really doesn't make a difference and I get the same error message. So be more specific in which part of the directions I didn't follow.
I thought a new offical VGUI is on its way, but seems like it died? well then, replace it with Nesquickos if not with the new one ...
