because of how different Bodrick's and JJ45's camo styles are, one should do NF< one should do BE. it will make the sides more distinguishable.

Those are def the best so far. With those model changes you suggested before (mainly rolled-down sleeves on the snowy engineer) I think they'd be spot on.

One suggestion: would you muddy-up the boots a little? I don't know if this'd suit the NF more, but wouldn't the boots be at least a little snowy/dusty/muddy after some use?

 

That depeds on the environment (the map), so I'd rather not. Perhaps it would be possible for Krenzo to code a feature that adds certain overlays/decals on the player models' skins as the players walk on certain types of materials?

 

I'd really like something similar to that, where vehicles kick up the colour dust of the material that they are moving over, i.e no more brown dust on escort.

Camos are one thing, 2 teams that look exactly the same because of it is another. I know one of the newbie complaints about this game was that its hard to see a difference between the 2 factions (infantry), which I don't agree with at all as its a problem with almost every game when you are a new player (except well orcs vs gay elves and marines vs aliens), but it still is a real complaint that people have made in the past, having the same camo on both factions isn't going to help at all, how cool they may look.


edit: so whoever is making the camoz that will be implemented, please for krenzo's sake keep in mind both teams need to be distinguishable(sp?)

 

I wasn't going to even add camouflage patterns on the NF soldiers' clothes, but make them completely plain-colored instead. Camouflage patterns would make them look too wealthy and advanced. I'm going to make them different. Everything you said has been on my mind ever since I got the idea of making these skins.

 

JJ$5 I thought I already told you how to make very very cheap camouflage...
just strip down a bush and sew it onto the clothing

i think a fresh vehicle have a camo paint job, not look like it's been in the jungle for ages already. that's really the gripe i have with the jeep. I like the med tank.

have you, erm, ever thought about, you know, improving the resolution of the some of the NF textures?

I'm just glad we'll get something new, something fresh. I like all the latest examples. It'll be nice to have some differences.
