How do you play Scout?

Scout stun stickies = fastest non-lame lone-wolf stupid shit way to get a comm killed. I often infiltrate as a scout, sab shit, then stick the comm and call in the cavalry

 

Sabbing is so crazy now. Watching entire bases turn into 1/10th remaining health smoking piles of almost rubble is crazy.

Luckily it hasn't caught on, so it only happens now and then. And rarely with actual team there to take advantage with a couple seismics.

 

I've seen dudes get uncomfortably close to me while I'm hiding, and they don't notice me. Funny though, in the reverse situation, hidden scouts stick out like a sore thumb for me, unless they are in a glitched location that makes them completely invisible.

Btw, I don't normally play scout, since the situations in which they are useful are quite limited.

 

That's because you don't know the ones you don't know about. :p

 

Considering how often I spot hidden scouts while my teammates are looking in the same direction and not noticing them, I think it's safe to say I have a good eye for them

 

Scouts are like cancer. Once you learn to spot them, they are likely screwed.

my newest scout strategy I've been trying out.

get a lt.
run it full speed into a vf/rax/radar.
jump out
sap the building
jump back in
fire at it / run over any engi trying to repair it

 

Ditto, i kill plenty of scouts who call hax cause they're sat staring at you, hoping you move on to call winzors on your base.

Except on the infantry maps, enhanced senses and concussion grenades can be quite effective.
